The NEW AlphaJoint family of products

Commencing January 2010, Permaban are pleased to announce the next chapter in the story of one of the most successful formwork systems produced by Permaban - the launch of their new AlphaJoint family of products.  This is intended to facilitate the designer and contractors selection of the most appropriate joint system for industrial and commercial floors ranging from medium duty, through to ultra heavy duty applications.

Permaban's industry leading AlphaJoint, utilising a 40 x 10mm top strip, now becomes AlphaJoint 4010.  Ideal for less onerous conditions, GammaJoint is renamed to AlphaJoint C.  These products are joined by two profiles; the innovative AlphaSlide, accommodating joint opening up to 45mm - making it ideal for jointless steel fibre reinforced floors and post tensioned slabs - and most recently, AlphaJoint F.  This new joint profile possess a unique forged section that maintains an exposed 40 x 10mm profile, yet uses a 43 % less steel, saving both cost and weight.

This change is to introduce the AlphaJoint formwork system as a family which will strengthen Permaban's joint solution.  These series of AlphaJoint products will offer the customer a high quality engineered solution with a professional and innovative formwork system. 

The entire AlphaJoint product range now benefits from a newly introduced fastening solution to hold the adjacent top strips in perfect alignment during construction.  This results in a far more predictable and uniform separation of the rails, as the joint opens, compared to the more commonly used bolt system.

Permaban's AlphaJoint family is the latest generation of Leave-in-Place formwork systems for industrial and commercial concrete floor slabs.  The AlphaJoint product range brings together the industry leading Leave-in-Place joint systems under a single family.  With its new and extending AlphaJoint range, Permaban demonstrates its commitment to innovation, design and cost effectiveness, whatever the demands of the floor.
