Permaban Launch New Top Strip Rivet Fastening Solution

On the 1^st December 2009, Permaban introduced a new rivet fastening solution for their Leave-in-Place joint systems which improves the performance and consistency of the release of the top strip assembly when the joint is cast in the slab.

The new rivet fastening solution is a product of Permaban's continuous improvement programme, which drives innovative solutions for current and future product developments in the areas of Design, Performance, Reliability and Sustainability. 

The new riveted fastening solution will be phased into production for AlphaJoint 4010 from the 1^st December 2009 replacing the existing nylon bolted fixing system currently used. Therefore orders placed on or after the 1^st December for AlphaJoint 4010 may be fulfilled using the existing nylon bolted fixing system and/or the new riveted solution as production using the new fastening solution ramps-up. We anticipate the transition to be completed by 1^st March 2010, however this will be influenced by current stocks of nylon bolted product and how quickly these are exhausted.

Once all stocks of the nylon bolted system have been depleted, all orders will be fulfilled with the new riveted fastening solution.

For Permaban's AlphaJoint C joint solution, the new rivet fastening solution has been implemented immediately and therefore any orders for AlphaJoint C will  be supplied with the new rivet fixing only.

Permaban will however continue to include nylon bolts in the spares kit sent with each bundle as is currently provided.
