ISO 9001 Certification

ISO 9001 is the internationally recognised standard for an organisation's internal Quality Management. 

Permaban, audited by BSi, achieved ISO 9001:2000 certification across the business establishing quality processes and procedures to ensure continuous improvement and quality measures are adopted and enforced. This underlines Permaban's ethic of providing quality across it's entire business operation ensuring the customer receives quality products and services.

Accreditation means that Permaban have been assessed against internationally recognised standards and operate to the highest levels of quality and service. This accreditation reduces the risk to us and our customers and gives us complete confidence that we have been independently evaluated for our competence and performance capability.

The term 'quality' refers to all those features of a product or service which are required by the customer. An organisation's 'Quality Management' refers to an organisation's actions to ensure that its products or services satisfy its customers' quality requirements and complies with any regulations applicable to those products or services. A management system is a proven framework for managing and continually improving the organisation's policies, procedures and processes.

A management system will help Permaban achieve these goals through a number of strategies, including process optimisation, management focus and disciplined management thinking.

Certification

Certification is when an accredited third party such as BSi Management Systems visits an organisation, assesses their management system and issues a certificate to show that the organisation abides by the principles set out in the standard, so following industry best practice.

Once a management system is in place, it's important that it is certified to ensure its long term effectiveness and continues to bring benefits to your organisation.

When a certificate has been issued, BSi will visit on a regular basis to assess whether we continue to conform and are still working to the best practice specifications laid out in the standard or scheme.
