The customer's requirements were for a high tolerance floor in order to allow a smooth & fast movement for the Materials Handling Equipment (MHE). This is of huge importance to Citroen, as the MHE will be carrying delicate parts which will be used for the production of their vehicles.
SOLUTION
Permaban's GD8 joint system was selected for this type of warehouse because of the higher arris protection, load transfer capacity and accurate fixing method. This is of importance when achieving high tolerance on a free movement floor as the accuracy is very crucial.
