Permaban supplied the AlphaJoint 4010 AD10 370 with Alphafix product at the Airbus Facility.

Airbus are one of the world's leading aircraft manufacturers.

Airbus' mission is to provide the aircraft best suited to the market's needs and to support these aircraft with the highest quality of service. The Airbus product line comprises 14 aircraft models, from the 100-seat single-aisle A318 jetliner to the 525-seat A380 - which is the largest civil airliner in service.

Their Plant in Toledo has been extended twice and now occupies a floor space area of more than 140,000m2.

Airbus‘s Spanish partner Casa- founded in 1923- joined the Airbus consortium in 1971.  For more than 35 years, Casa have manufactured competitive aerospace products including subsystems for launch control, satellites and the International Space Station (ISS). 

SOLUTION

Airbus chose to use Permaban's AlphaJoint 4010 after they had experienced many problems with other previously installed joints which had made it very difficult for them to move delicate components around inside the factory.

RESULTS

Airbus now insists upon AlphaJoint 4010 being used in the floors on their projects, including the 90,000m2 facility which is currently under construction in Seville.
